Do you charge per pet?

No.  I base pricing solely on length of visit, it does not matter how many pets you have or what type of pets they may be.

Do you charge extra for special needs pets?

No.  There is no extra charge for medication administration or any extra steps required.

Will you see my pet or do you have employees?

I am a solo pet-sitter so you will have me every time.

Do you work on holidays?

I am available 24/7, 365 days per year.  Holidays DO have an extra charge of $5/visit.  Those holidays include:  New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Do you have back-up sitters?

I currently do not as Covid-19 has put many out of business.  I encourage you to find a back-up in the event I am unable to care for your pet due to illness or unavailability.

What payments do you accept?

I accept Cash, Check, and Zelle.

Can I mix-and-match visit lengths?

You sure can! Scheduling is flexible.

What if I need a last-minute visit?

I will do my best to fit you into that day's schedule and there will be an extra $5/visit charge for same-day requests.

What is your cancellation policy?

You may cancel a visit up to 30 minutes before the service time scheduled.  If you forget to cancel later than that, you will still be charged for that visit.

What if the weather is too hot/cold/horrid for safely walking?

I will still be there to let your dog have a quick potty break and the rest of the time will be filled with indoor play and/or snuggles.

What are your hours of operation?

Pet visits occur between the hours of 7 AM and 9 PM (other than overnights).  Office hours are between 9 AM and 6 PM during the week and 9 AM to 3 PM on the weekends.

BC Pet Care donates a portion of all visits to area animal shelters/rescues/organizations.

"Brienne has taken care of my dog, Lucky, on a number of occasions while we were living in an apartment and transitioning homes. She even let us include a friend’s pet on some of her visits! She is conscientious and responsible and fantastic with our pets. Lucky is a diabetic dog and she was able to give him his medication and meals on the exact schedule that he needed. I know he enjoyed having Brienne take care of him as he was always glad to see her!  My only regret is that she wouldn’t agree to move with us to South Carolina!"
